ABOUT US

Our Mission

To provide women with the skills they need to change the outcome of any violent situation.

Our Vision

Fight Back SA is a non profit organisation (NPO 239-623) which was founded in early 2019 to provide women with access to free self defence workshops. We are a group of volunteers, trained by Etienne Ferreira (Tru Krav, Cape Town).

We hope to expand our workshops into other countries one day – to provide free self defence classes to women in Iran, Costa Rica, the States – with a global footprint. Thank you for contributing to this movement towards women’s physical and mental empowerment through self defence.

Our Values

Honesty, Vulnerability, Trust, Courage, Commitment

Workshops

Fight Back SA volunteers avail themselves to teach women and children several self-defence principles, including anti-hijacking, anti-abduction, hand-to-hand combat, disarming of weapons and how to break out of a chokehold on the ground (anti-rape). These workshops are run in communities where crime rates are at their peak.

Contact us today to book a corporate workshop for your staff, to sponsor a free Fight Back SA self defence class in a sister community where women would love to learn it.
